That obligation is in keeping with the government’s determination to be more transparent with the public. This section gives you direct access to various documents prescribed by the Regulation.

The Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information recognizes that, in addition to the right to access documents, members of the public have the right to access personal information concerning them and to correct that information if it is inaccurate, incomplete or equivocal, or if its collection, release or retention is not authorized by the Act.
